In John 3:16 Jesus declares that God loves the world. Therefore, we also love the world.
We seek to join God in what He is doing in the world through relational partnerships. Our desire isn’t to start something new, but to come alongside our indigenous brothers and sisters in Christ, and to encourage, support, and practically assist them in their work. We currently are focused on two partnerships:
We partner with the Yung Goddis, a group of young men, in Carrefour, who have a vision to see their community and country changed by God. You can see what our teams have been apart of in this video and check out what this partnership is all about here. This partnership is facilitated by Experience Mission.
We partner with Bokamoso, a ministry centered around breaking the cycles of poverty by providing opportunities for mentoring and education. Make sure you check out this highlight video from a previous trip. This partnership is facilitated by Mpho and Tabo Putu in Soweto, South Africa.
We participate in the following ways:
- Relational and Prayer Connection: Above all, we desire to be in relationship with our partners and believe we have much to learn from them. We also pray for our partners and the Kingdom work they are doing.
- Financial Support: We financially support the work of our partners through projects. For example, we work together with a network of churches in Soweto, South Africa, as well as, Victory Point Church (Holland, MI) to raise money to send roughly 100 young people to school and university. This enables them to break out of the cycle of poverty.
- Short-Term Trips: We send teams of Watermarkers to learn from, serve and support our mission partners.
