Maybe this is the story an upper story and a lower story. On the upper story it is a father teaching his son how we should then live. On the lower story it’s a dysfunctional infant learning the rules a walking talking not touching the stove or playing in the street. I honestly don’t believe this is anything Les and God showing love for his people in ways that they did not understand. The reason we don’t like it is because we’re being dragged through their childhood and it reminds us of Our Own.
