We believe that there is one living, true and holy God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Therefore, “the ministry we have entered is the ministry of Jesus Christ, the Son, to the Father, through the Holy Spirit, for the sake of the church and world” – Stephen Seamands
We believe that God the Father created all things with the Son and Spirit. God loves the world and is actively at work in the world. God desires a love relationship with all of His creation and invites us to join His good work.
We believe that Jesus (God the Son) was fully man and fully God. He is the promised Messiah, lived a perfect life of obedience, announced and ushered in the Kingdom of God, suffered at the hands of men and died on the cross. He paid for the sins of all, was bodily resurrected, and enthroned at God’s right hand as our Intercessor and King. We believe that He will return.
We believe the Holy Spirit (God the Spirit) comes to live within followers of Jesus. The Spirit draws people to God and empowers us to be changed and to live in the ways of Jesus and do the works of Jesus. The Holy Spirit gifts and equips us to to participate in His Kingdom mission and to build up the church.
We believe that every person has been made in the image of God and has dignity and worth. Humanity was created to be in a perfect and purposeful relationship with God. However, sin has brought about brokenness between us and God, one another, ourselves and creation. We believe that all people are sinners and need a saving relationship with God.
We believe that we were created for relationship with God, but need to be reconciled to God because sin has broken this relationship. We enter this relationship by repenting of our sin, putting our trust in Jesus, and committing to follow Him. We are not only saved from our sin, but we are also saved for God’s purposes and transformation in and through our lives. We believe that God desires all people everywhere to know Him.
We believe that the Church is the Body of Jesus, the family of God, made up of followers of Jesus in all their various traditions and expressions. We believe that followers of Jesus are called to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the midst of our diversity and work together as brothers and sisters to see God’s Kingdom advance.
